Field Service Technician
Pathology Service Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team! You’ll provide on-site support for histology equipment, handling troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, and installations. You’ll interact directly with customers and help keep their laboratories running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve issues with histology equipment
- Install and commission new systems
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Communicate with clients, offering technical advice and support
- Maintain thorough service documentation
- Provide user training on equipment
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering (or Military equivalent)
- Field service experience with histology equipment required
- Certifications in Sakura, Leica, or Thermo histology equipment preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Professional, customer-service oriented approach
- Ability to lift, carry, and work on equipment in varied environments

Sr. Field Service Technician
Pathology Service Inc. is growing and looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer to lead the way! In this role, you’ll provide high-level technical support, mentor junior engineers, and manage complex installations and repairs for histology equipment across the Southeastern U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site
- Install, commission, and maintain histology systems
- Communicate directly with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain detailed service records
- Train technicians and customers on proper equipment use
- Supervise and mentor junior field service staff as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering (or Military equivalent)
- Practical field service experience with histology equipment required
- Certifications in Sakura, Leica, or Thermo histology equipment preferred
- Leadership experience or the ability to mentor junior staff
- Outstanding technical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Physical ability to manage equipment and travel as needed
